After the stupendous success of Bigg Boss OTT 2 on Jio Cinema, the makers of India’s most prominent reality show are gearing up for the seventeenth season of Bigg Boss which will air on Colors TV, featuring the iconic host Salman Khan once again. The upcoming season is likely to hit the television screens next month and the makers are currently in the process of finalizing an impressive set of participants.
This time the theme of the show will be singles vs couples. Several notable celebrities including Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Samarth Jurel and Seema Haider along with her husband Sachin Meena have reportedly received invitations to join the controversial reality series as contestants.
It is learned that Karan Kundrra and Tejasvi Prakash will be the mentors of the pairs, while Elvish Yadav will be seen as the mentors of the singles team.
The official announcement from the manufacturers is still awaited. Earlier it was rumoured that Bigg Boss 16 stars Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta could also be seen as mentors in Bigg Boss 17.
However, the source said that there are no plans to bring Priyanka and Ankit together as mentors in Bigg Boss 17. The source said, “The reports of Ankit Gupta being approached to advise the contestants of Bigg Boss 17 along with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary are absolutely false. Since Karan and Tejasswi share a good equation with Endemol, their share of the “Most likely to become.”
As of now, Priyanka and Ankit have not reacted to the rumours of Bigg Boss 17. As per the ongoing discussions, Bigg Boss 17 is likely to premiere on October 20 on Colors TV. However, the team has not announced it yet.
