Actor Salman Khan is back with Bigg Boss Season 17 after a successful stint on ‘Jio Cinema’. Undoubtedly, Salman Khan’s reality show has become the most talked about show every year. From the contestants participating in the theme to Bigg Boss viewers never shy away from discussing the possibilities in the upcoming season on social media.
The 17th installment of Bigg Boss is all set to premiere on 30th September and will have a couples vs singles theme. There have also been speculations about some of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants joining Bigg Boss 17. However, the confirmed list of contestants participating in the show is still not official. It is being said that the makers will bring in four jodis and five single contestants.
As per the Twitter handle which has been sharing regular updates about the show, the show will go on air next month and will feature a couple vs single theme. It is said that former Pandya Store actor and couple Joon Kaushik and Kanwar Dhillon are mostly confirmed.
Earlier, it was reported that Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants Manisha Rani, Babika Dhruve and Abhishek Malhan would be a part of Bigg Boss 17, however, Malhan’s brother Nishchay denied the speculations as his brother’s health is compromised. Salman Khan recently wrapped up Bigg Boss OTT 2 after declaring YouTuber Elvish Yadav as the winner of the show. Yadav was up against Abhishek Malhan, who was the runner-up, while Manisha Rani and Babika Dhurve were the first and second runners-up respectively.
The second instalment of Bigg Boss OTT became one of the most-watched shows on ‘Jio Cinema’ in the first half of 2023. The makers launched the OTT version of the show in 2021.
