Elvish Yadav lost over 1 lakh followers on Instagram for using derogatory remarks against Babika Dhurve in Bigg Boss OTT 2. Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 began in June this year and since then, fans have been getting their daily dose of conflict and drama. A few weeks after the show started, YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who is a contestant on Salman Khan’s show, has been trending on the internet.
Elvish used abusive words for Babika Dhurve while Manisha Rani and Abhishek Malhan walked around and ‘encouraged’ her. In the weekend episode, Salman pulled up all three and scolded Elvish a lot. Since the last episode, it looks like the YouTuber is losing followers on Instagram.
If we look at the latest figures, Elvish Yadav has lost more than 1 lakh followers on Instagram. This seems to be a major setback for his social media presence since the last episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 aired.
Apparently Elvish had said that even the dogs didn’t care for Babika. Elvish often made derogatory comments that were removed from the show. When Elvish learns that Jiya doesn’t feel safe with him, he tells Abhishek Malhan that he doesn’t even look at women like Jiya in the outside world.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan questioned Elvish Yadav about the importance of his millions of followers, social media trends and viral status in the light of his rudeness. Despite Salman’s thrashing, Elvish became active on Twitter again. The hashtag “Unbreakable Elvish Yadav” garnered over one million tweets in just six hours. The hashtag is being used by Elvish supporters on several Twitter and Instagram pages urging the boycott of Salman Khan.
Elvish Yadav was selected as a wild card contestant in Bigg Boss OTT 2 because of his internet popularity and catchy videos. Thanks to his distinctive style and endearing charisma, he has enthralled the audience with his performances.
