After being in the Bigg Boss house for more than 50 days, it will soon be announced who will be the winner of the Salman Khan-hosted show. In a surprising turn of events, in the August 9 episode, Bigg Boss called the housemates to the garden area. A special surprise awaited them as soon as the top five finalists were announced.
The top five finalists of the second season of Bigg Boss OTT were finally revealed after the finale week task on Wednesday, 9th August. In the 54th episode of the show, the housemates found a huge calendar placed in the garden area. Bigg Boss then reveals that they will take a trip down memory lane, reliving the journey of Bigg Boss OTT 2, as suggested by the theme of the day.
During the episode, Babika turns the pages of a calendar, which reveals photographs that capture moments from the season premiere to the finale week. Emotions ran high among the housemates as they reminisced about Punit’s surprise eviction and Cyrus Broacha’s exit from the show.
When Babika was about to turn the page, Bigg Boss brought a twist by announcing the final eviction of the season. Bigg Boss called a volunteer to go ahead and draw the last sheet of the calendar. There was a task in the sheet which was taken by Abhishek Malhan. Abhishek was among the first finalists of the show. Bigg Boss informs that the person whose picture is on the last page of the calendar got the least number of votes among the nominated contestants – Elvish, Manisha and Jia.
Abhishek turns the pages to unveil Jia Shankar’s picture. With this revelation, Bigg Boss announced Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, Babika Dhurve and Pooja Bhatt as the top five contenders for the season. Jia graciously bids farewell to her fellow housemates and expressed her gratitude to them and Bigg Boss for their visit.
Meanwhile, in the second segment of the episode, Babika opens up about her personal life. She told Abhishek about her ex-boyfriend. She said that her boyfriend was very obsessed with her and Jordan was a mature guy. Babika revealed that she has dated people from the Middle East and Dubai. She also revealed about being in a relationship with an egotistical and abusive man which was painful for her.
Abhishek kept making fun of this disrespectful boy and kept asking if she left him for Jordan boy. He also teased her saying that she might be the one killing him. Babika admits that she slapped him once. When Abhishek kept teasing her, Babika got upset and asked him to stop making fun of her painful experience.
In the episode, we also saw Pooja Bhatt praising Abhishek Malhan while looking at the camera. In an earlier episode, Abhishek had also said a good thing about Pooja’s personality. Looking at the camera, Pooja said that she will always remember Abhishek’s praise. He told how Abhishek was a strong contestant in the house.
