A few weeks back, Elvish Yadav was crowned as the eventual winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2. The second season of the OTT was an exciting experience and with every episode, the contestants surprised us all.
Now, the makers are gearing up for season 17 of the highly controversial show. Rumours are already rife about the contestants and format of the upcoming season. Several reports suggest that some former Bigg Boss contestants will enter the house to mentor and guide the contestants in the game.
As per sources, Tejashwi Prakash (winner of Bigg Boss 15) and former contestant Karan Kundrra have been confirmed to re-enter the Salman Khan-led show. Reportedly, they will be staying in the Bigg Boss 17 house for about a week or two. This time the house will be divided into two teams for the pairs and Karan Kundrra and Tejashwi Prakash will be seen as mentors to the pairs participating in the show.
This is not the first time that the makers are planning to bring ex-contestants to the show. Earlier, in Bigg Boss 14 Gauahar Khan, Siddharth Shukla and Hina Khan participated in the show and stayed in the house for almost 3 weeks as seniors.
Interestingly, the Bigg Boss house continues to be a special place for Karan Kundrra and Tejashwi Prakash. The two fell in love with each other during their stint in Bigg Boss 15 and have been drifting off since then. Earlier in several interviews, both Karan and Tejashwi had said that whenever Bigg Boss calls them for help, they will definitely be a part of the show.
Meanwhile, the search for the next batch of contestants is already underway. Babika Dhurve, who shot to fame with Bigg Boss OTT 2, has reportedly received an invitation to feature in the upcoming season, says a report. However, the decision is not yet finalized, as Bebika is taking time to consider her options before confirming her participation.
Apart from him, Radha Krishna fame Mallika Singh was also invited to be a part of Salman Khan’s show, however, she reportedly declined the offer. Rumours are rife with names like Alice Kaushik and Kanwar Dhillon too.
